SHOTOVER K1

The Shotover K1 is the industry leading camera system, delivering unshakable stability at the highest resolutions. Capable of housing the latest camera sensors from companies like ARRI, RED and Sony, coupled with a huge range of lenses, the Shotover K1 is the go-to system for major motion pictures across the world. The platform can be modified to capture in 3D as well as shoot IMAX quality footage.

The Shotover K1 can also be modified to house multiple camera systems. The two multi-camera systems for the K1 are the Hammerhead (three camera system) and the Hydra Array (six camera system). 

HAMMERHEAD ARRAY

The Hammerhead array allows the fitting of three RED Montro 8K VV, ARRI ALEXA Mini or Mini LF. This set-up has been designed specifically to assist VFX teams by giving them three, synchronised plates from a single run. This can be a huge time and money saver for productions as it can often be difficult to repeat the same run each time for background plates. Combined, the Hammerhead can also produce 12K footage.

HYDRA ARRAY

The Hydra Array consists of six RED Dragon 6K cameras with a toe-in formation to reduce distortion and has an unprecedented 150º field-of-view. Like the Hammerhead array, it has been designed to be a huge benefit for VFX teams and productions. The six synchronised cameras can produce up to 36K footage in a single pass. Again, this system grants a massive saving in time and money when creating background plates.
