Description

Mission:Impossible Dead Reckoning, directed by Christopher McQuarrie, sees Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team set out to find a new weapon that poses a grave danger to humanity. This was their most perilous mission to date. The stakes are high, as failure would mean the weapon falling into the wrong hands and the future of the world is in jeopardy. As they race around the globe, dark forces from Ethan’s past threaten their mission.

In 2020, The Aerial Film Company were in the midst of planning for Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One and proceeded to film throughout 2021 and 2022. This mission took us to numerous locations including locations around the UK, Norway and Abu Dhabi.

Norway played an essential location for us as we captured Tom Cruise on a motorcycle jumping off a cliff, parachuting into a Norwegian valley. This was in addition to our involvement with the dramatic train sequence.

The train crash took place in Darlton Quarry, UK this stunt saw us deploy two camera helicopters to capture the once-in-a-lifetime action which required us to nail the shots in a single take.

Travelling to Abu Dhabi, closely collaborated with the United States Marine Corps to capture shots of the V-22 Ospreys over the Liwa desert and Abu Dhabi International Airport with a fixed-wing camera platform and Shotover F1.

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One was released in UK cinemas on the 10th of July 2023.
