HELICOPTER FILMING SERVICES
Providing helicopter filming services using the very latest gyro-stabilised camera systems on single and twin engine helicopters, we can capture the most stable footage at the highest resolutions. Our pilots have over ten years of experience flying camera and picture helicopters for a wide variety of productions. We work closely with the director and DoP to capture their creative vision as well as draw upon our extensive helicopter filming experience to open up even more possibilities. Combined with our highly experienced aerial camera operator, we always deliver the best footage possible to the most professional standard.
GYRO-STABLISED CAMERA SYSTEMS
SHOTOVER K1
For when the highest resolutions are required, the Shotover K1 is the answer. The system is capable of taking the very latest camera bodies and lenses from the likes of ARRI and RED; the K1 is the go to helicopter filming system for big budget feature films, TV and documentaries.
The platform can also be modified to take three and six-camera arrays for creating VFX plates or capturing footage up to 12K.

SHOTOVER F1
The little brother to the K1, the F1 is smaller and lighter making it ideal for smaller budget projects. Its reduced size and weight means it has less effect on flight time and therefore is perfect for filming in remote locations where high resolution is still required.
Like the K1, it can take a wide range of cameras from ARRI, RED, Sony and Phantom and an impressive array of lenses. For a full list of compatible cameras and lenses, click below.

GSS C516
The GSS C516 is perfect for meeting almost any filming requirement. The platform is capable of using some the most popular medium-sized cameras like the RED Helium and ARRI ALEXA Mini and lenses up to 1000mm.
Cameras and lenses can easily be swapped out quickly to meet changing production requirements.

HELICOPTERS
AIRBUS H125
The H125 outclasses all other single engine helicopters on performance and safety. Formally the AS350B3e, these Single Squirrels are renowned for their proven versatility and ability to excel in demanding conditions and altitudes. With only one engine, the H125 provides a cost effective option whilst maintaining a high performance similar to its twin-engine variant.
The single squirrel has the capability to carry up to five passengers at a cruise speed of 135kts, for up to 2.5 hours depending on passenger weights and camera system. Very few single engine aircraft offer such a wide range of ability whilst carrying the Director or DoP in comfort.

AS355N/NP
The AS355 is a favoured aircraft for aerial filming tasks due to its versatility. Capable of flying in all weather conditions, this twin-engined aircraft has a three hour flight endurance and relatively low running costs.
Operating only the latest N & NP variants of the AS355 range enables us to provide maximum endurance capabilities, making them a popular choice for aerial work. A twin-engined aircraft is also a pre-requisite for filming over built-up areas. With the AS355N and NP variants being the most powerful we are able to demonstrate the safety margin required to gain enhanced low flying and stunt permissions from aviation authorities. These would be unobtainable using many other helicopter types.
