Description
The Aerial Film Company played a pivotal role in bringing the high-octane action of Cleaner, directed by the acclaimed Martin Campbell and starring Daisy Ridley, to life. The film’s gripping storyline follows a former soldier turned window cleaner as she battles time and terror to save 300 hostages—including her younger brother—trapped in a high-rise building by radical activists.
To capture the aerial sequences that punctuate this heart-pounding thriller, we provided our industry-leading Shotover K1 system paired with a Red Digital Cinema V-Raptor FF camera package, delivering breathtaking, dynamic visuals. Our Airbus AS355N helicopters gave the production unparalleled mobility and precision for filming over London’s iconic skyline.
Camera pilot Will Banks and Aerial DOP Phil Arntz collaborated seamlessly to create dramatic, immersive shots that amplified the film’s tension and scale. Behind the scenes, Aerial Coordinator Abi Hensby secured reduced separation and low-level flying permits, enabling us to shoot in congested urban environments with maximum flexibility.
