Enola Holmes 3
Description
The Aerial Film Company provided aerial filming services for Enola Holmes 3 during production in Malta.
Working closely with the production team, our aerial crew delivered airborne sequences across a range of locations throughout Malta, supporting the visual storytelling of the latest instalment in the hugely successful franchise.
Operating in a foreign location requires more than simply arriving with a camera system. Drawing on our extensive experience of international aerial filming, we coordinated with our network of aviation partners to source a suitable helicopter from Spain. Film Pilot Will Banks and Aerial DoP Phil Arntz then ferried an Airbus AS350 B3e from mainland Spain to Malta specifically for the production.
The aerial package was built around our Shotover F1 stabilised camera system, paired with a Sony Venice 2 and Fujinon Premista 28-100mm Short Zoom lens. This combination provided the flexibility to capture everything from wide establishing shots to tighter, character-focused aerial work, while maintaining the stability and image quality expected of a major feature film production.
From aviation logistics and permitting through to aerial coordination and filming operations, our team delivered a complete aerial unit solution, allowing production to focus on achieving the creative requirements of the film while we managed the complexities of operating in an overseas environment.
