The Runner
Description
The Aerial Film Company was proud to support Amazon MGM Studios’ action thriller The Runner, supplying our AS355N Twin Engine Helicopter equipped with the Shotover K1 gyro-stabilised camera system for aerial cinematography over London.
Working alongside Academy Award-winning cinematographer Anthony Dod Mantle and director Kevin Macdonald, our team captured dynamic aerial sequences that showcase London’s skyline and streets as the backdrop to the film’s relentless, high-stakes pursuit. The Runner stars Gal Gadot as a high-powered attorney forced into a desperate race across the capital to save her abducted son, with every decision carrying life-or-death consequences.
Operating in one of the world’s busiest and most complex urban airspaces, our experienced flight crew and camera team delivered smooth, cinematic imagery while coordinating closely with production and aviation authorities to safely execute demanding aerial filming operations.
